By: TONY MARKS Editor TURKEY CREEK - Chris Kalivoda, a published author, businessman, architect, inventor, and community advocate living in Turkey Creek, displayed a prototype of one of his new inventions during the Turkey Creek Village Council meeting held Tuesday, May 20.

New trash collection service begins

By: HEATHER BOGARD Associate Editor A new trash collection service contract with Bayou State will begin July 1. Bayou State, based in St. Landry Parish, will hold a five-year contract for trash collection in Evangeline Parish.
