A total of 4,605 votes were cast in Evangeline Parish for the upcoming election on November 5. The total was less than the 5,256 early votes from the last presidential election four years ago.
Of this year’s total, 3,621 were white; 916 were Black; 2,124 were male; 2,480 were female; 1,662 were Democrat; and 2,323 were Republican.
