Welcome sign is unveiled

A new welcome sign for the City of Ville Platte was unveiled on Friday, November 8. The new sign is located at the eastern entrance of the city in front of the Tobacco Plus location and was purchased through a grant from the Evangeline Parish Tourist Commission. The sign is also part of a beautification project sponsored by Keep Louisiana Beautiful and the Office of Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser.
