The 10th Annual Le Grand Hoorah was held this past weekend at Lakeview Park and Beach. The event began on Friday, October 31, with a Boo-Rah that featured trick-or-treating from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and live music from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Live music continued on Saturday with performances by Holiday Playgirls, Geno Delafose and French Rockin Boogie, Savoy Family Band, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, and Le Grand Hoorah Swamp Pop Showcase. The day also featured an honoree presentation to Mark Layne, of KVPI Radio.
