On Tuesday, October 14, Ville Platte Mayor Ryan LeDay Williams (seated) signed a proclamation recognizing the month of October as National Catholic Daughters of the Americas Month. Today, October 19, is designated as National Catholic Daughters Sunday and the local Sacred Heart of Jesus Court #1674 will celebrate the day.
