Weapons, currency, and illegal narcotics are recovered in Mamou

Evangeline Parish Sheriff Charles R. Guillory released the following.
On March 20, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department’s Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant on a residence on East Street in the Town of Mamou. Agents entered the residence and detained three people without incident. Agents then searched the residence and located illegal narcotics, AR15 rifle, and two handguns.
