One is dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting that occurred on the evening of Tuesday, July 25. According to Ville Platte Chief of Police Al Perry Thomas, the incident occurred near the intersection of Constitution Drive and N. Dupre Street.
The matter is still under investigation.
