Mamou resident is victim of murder/ suicide

Deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office continue their investigation into a Saturday evening shooting, which left two people dead. Deputies were dispatched just after 7 p.m., on October 12, to La. Highway 367 (White Oak Highway). During the investigation, deputies discovered two people deceased from gunshot wounds.
