EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons: • Federito E. Biadan, 52, Ville Platte, was arrested March 6, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. Biadan remains incarcerated on no bond. • Collins Lee King, 35, Mamou, was arrested March 5, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for manufacture, distribute, or possess with intent to distribute schedule I CDS and use or possess to drug paraphernalia. King was released on a $27,500.00 bond. • Diontra Collins, 28, Ville Platte, was arrested March 5, 2024, by the Ville Platte Police Department for simple escape; aggravated escape. Collins remains incarcerated on a $100,000.00 bond. • James Gregory Charlie, 48, Ville Platte, was arrested March 6, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for disturbing the peace/ offensive language, telephone harassment, and emanation of excessive sound or noise. Charlie was released on no bond. • Tonia Willis, 44, Mamou, was arrested March 6, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Willis was released on a $5,000.00 bond. • Landry Gallow, 41, Ville Platte, was arrested March 6, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for entry or remaining after being forbidden and possession of CDS schedule I. Gallow was released on no bond. • Texster Wayne Ritter, 44, Mamou, was arrested March 6, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Ritter was released on a $5,000.00 bond. • Devyn Rose Sweeny, 25, Alexandria, was arrested March 6, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of possession of CDS schedule I and possession of firearm with certain CDS offenses or while committing a crime of violence. Sweeny was released on a $30,000.00 bond. • Madison Laylani Desselle, 26, Alexandria, was arrested March 6, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS, possession with intent to distribute schedule II narcotics, possession of CDS schedule I, and possession of a firearm with certain CDS offenses or while committing a crime of violence. Desselle was released on a $30,000.00 bond. • Drake Gavin Conner, 22, Ville Platte, was arrested March 8, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery - strangulation. Conner remains incarcerated on no bond.
