The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Joshua Cade Kritzer, 39, Ville Platte, was arrested January 17, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for aggravated battery. Kritzer remains incarcerated on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Nichole Marie Fontenot, 49, Ville Platte, was arrested January 17, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Fontenot remains incarcerated on a $5,000.00 bond.
