The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Dianna Paige Viator, 37, Mamou, was arrested January 12, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS, home invasion, and theft. Viator was released on a $40,000.00 bond.
• Gerry Griffin, 56, Ville Platte, was arrested January 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for DWI 3rd offense and vehicular negligent injuring. Griffin remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Marion Bouley, 43, Ville Platte, was arrested January 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Bouley was released on no bond.
• Jennifer Ann Fontenot, 28, Mamou, was arrested January 14, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Fontenot remains incarcerated on no bond.
