The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Cody Lee Guidry, 30, Ville Platte, was arrested January 10, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for resisting a police officer with force or violence, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, and simple criminal damage to property. Guidry remains incarcerated on a $160,000.00 bond.
• Harry J. Reed, 51, Ville Platte, was arrested January 10, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Reed remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Christopher Marquez Malveaux, 33, Mamou, was arrested January 10, 2024, by the Mamou Police Department for domestic abuse battery. Malveaux remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Coby Shane Deville, 28, Mamou, was arrested January 11, 2024, by Probation and Parole for probation violation. Deville remains incarcerated on no bond.
