EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons: • Terry Lynn Captain, 42, Mamou, was arrested December 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple battery of the infirm, domestic abuse battery, and simple criminal damage to property. Captain remains incarcerated on a $15,000.00 bond. • Angela Marie Jack, 50, Ville Platte, was arrested December 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to pay sex offender registration fee. Jack remains incarcerated on no bond. • Heather Marie Sylvester, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested December 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for illegal use of CDS in presence of minor, improper supervision of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, and failure to appear for court. Sylvester was released on a $50,000.00 bond. • Brandon Phillip Fontenot, 39, Ville Platte, was arrested December 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for illegal use of CDS in presence of minor, improper supervision of a minor, and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. Fontenot remains incarcerated on a $50,000.00 bond. • Johnathan M. Malveaux, 38, Mamou, was arrested December 14, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation or parole violation. Malveaux remains incarcerated on no bond. • Brandon Alonzo Freeman, 40, Pine Prairie, was arrested December 16, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for flight from an officer - aggravated flight from an officer and obstruction of justice. Freeman was released on a $50,000.00 bond. • Coby Lance Vidrine, 37, Ville Platte, was arrested December 15, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for DWI 1st offense, domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, and violation of protective orders. Vidrine remains incarcerated on no bond. • Tyler Joseph Lasage, 27, Mamou, was arrested December 17, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court, possession of schedule II CDS, resisting an officer, and obstruction of justice. Lasage remains incarcerated on a $100,000.00 bond. • Travis Blake McGee, 44, Eunice, was arrested December 20, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse - aggravated assault and domestic abuse battery. McGee remains incarcerated on no bond.
