The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Starla Thompson, 24, Pioneer, was arrested November 4, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for DWI 1st offense. Thompson was released on a $3,500.00 bond.
• Christian Roel Montes, 34, Ville Platte, was arrested November 6, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Montes was released on no bond.
• Brian Joseph Henry, 44, Ville Platte, was arrested November 6, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession with intent to distribute schedule II narcotics and failure to appear for court. Henry remains incarcerated on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Christopher Paul Fontenot, 42, Ville Platte, was arrested November 7, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS schedule III and nine counts of issuing worthless checks less than $300. Fontenot was released on a $5,750.00 bond.
• Darien Thomas, 18, Ville Platte, was arrested November 7, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Thomas was released on no bond.
• Keon A. Lebleu, 21, Mamou, was arrested November 7, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for illegal possession of stolen firearms. Lebleu was released on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Shane Perry Richard, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested November 8, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple assault and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Richard remains incarcerated on a $3,000.00 bond.
