The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Jacob Brent Perron, 31, Ville Platte, was arrested September 20, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for create, distribute, or possess with intent to distribute schedule II methamphetamine and possession of schedule II CDS. Perron remains incarcerated on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Heather Sylvester, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested September 22, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for four counts of failure to appear for court. Sylvester was released on no bond.
• Brandon Phillip Fontenot, 39, Ville Platte, was arrested September 22, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS and illegal use of CDS in presence of minor. Fontenot was released on a $5,500.00 bond.
• Benjamin Kyle Bolton, 31, Ville Platte, was arrested September 21, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession with intent to distribute schedule II narcotics and illegal use of CDS in presence of minor. Bolton was released on a $5,500.00 bond.
• Jolin Jacoby Shillow, 31, Ville Platte, was arrested September 21, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for sex offender- failure to notify of address change. Shillow was released on no bond.
• Jacob Paul Brown, 24, Marksville, was arrested September 21, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for manufacture, distribute, or possess with intent to distribute schedule I CDS and illegal carrying of weapons. Brown was released on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Kenneth Fontenot, 60, Ville Platte, was arrested September 22, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS, possession of a firearm with certain CDS offenses or while committing a crime of violence, and failure to appear for court. Fontenot was released on a $10,150.00 bond.
• Carlos Gallow, 32, Ville Platte, was arrested September 22, 2023, by Probation and Parole for probation or parole violation. Gallow was released on no bond.
• Quanisky Q. Mouton, 22, Ville Platte, was arrested September 22, 2023, by Probation and Parole for probation and parole violation. Mouton remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Hannan D. Deshotel, 44, Lake Charles, was arrested September 22, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple escape, criminal trespass, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, simple criminal damage to property, and failure to appear for court. Deshotel remains incarcerated on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Hunter Lynn Elliott, 34, Ville Platte, was arrested September 24, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of failure to appear for court. Elliott remains incarcerated on a $750.00 bond.
• Justin Gage Ashworth, 25, Eunice, was arrested September 23, 2023, by the Mamou Police Department for DWI 1st offense. Ashworth was released on a $3,500.00 bond.
• Christopher C. Beaubouef, 53, was arrested September 23, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery- strangulation, simple battery of the infirm, false imprisonment, and cruelty to the infirm. Beaubouef remains incarcerated on a $45,000.00 bond.
• Erliss Celestine, 53, Ville Platte, was arrested September 24, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court and aggravated battery. Celestine remains incarcerated on an $11,500.00 bond.
