The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Lindsey Guillory, 29, Opelousas, was arrested September 11, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for disturbing the peace by intoxication. Guillory was released on a $500.00 bond.
• McCannson Montrise Collins, 41, Mamou, was arrested September 11, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for flight from an officer, obstruction of justice, and failure to appear for court. Collins remains incarcerated on an $11,000.00 bond.
• Mark Owens, 48, Opelousas, was arrested September 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS schedule I. Owens was released on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Gilbert Scott Lafleur, 33, Ville Platte, was arrested September 12, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for three counts of failure to appear for court, attempted burglary, and aggravated criminal damage to property. Lafleur remains incarcerated on an $83,000.00 bond.
• Casey Lane Tate, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested September 12, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court, attempted burglary, and aggravated criminal damage to property. Tate remains incarcerated on a $53,000.00 bond.
• Jacob Brent Perron, 31, Ville Platte, was arrested September 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Perron was released on no bond.
