EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons: • Jason Lynn Richard, 51, Mamou, was arrested August 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for criminal mischief, theft, and simple criminal damage to property. Richard remains incarcerated on a $32,000.00 bond. • Dillon John Dupre, 29, Ville Platte, was arrested August 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of failure to appear for court. Dupre remains incarcerated on a no bond. • Joseph Lee Thomas, 44, Ville Platte, was arrested August 15, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of failure to appear for court. Thomas was released on a no bond. • Rodney Darjean, 44, Opelousas, was arrested August 14, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Darjean remains incarcerated on a no bond.
