The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons: • Yves C. Fontenot, 62, Ville Platte, was arrested February 9, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a firearm with certain CDS offenses or while committing a crime of violence.
