Attempted murder suspect is wanted
The Mamou Police Department is further actively looking for a Kelsey Rochelle Mallet, who has been charged with attempted first degree murder after an altercation which also happened on Tuesday, during the Mardi Gras festivities just before 5 p.m. Mallet, 25-year-old resident of Port Barre, allegedly stabbed 19-year-old Taylor Crump, of Opelousas, twice in the chest puncturing Crump’s lung.
