Sergeant Darrian Guillory of the Ville Platte Police Department reports human remains were found on Monday, December 23, 2024. The remains were discovered north of Ville Platte off of Tate Cove Road. There are combined efforts between the Ville Platte Police Department, Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office and LSP to have the remains positively identified.
