The Rotary Club of Ville Platte closed out the month of October by hearing from Holly Fontenot, who is a licensed clinical social worker at Freedom Behavioral here in Ville Platte. She spoke about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health.

Mr. Fruge, Miss Dugas plan November 13 nuptials

The engagement of Miss. Courtney Louise Dugas, the daughter of Dr. Randy Dugas and Ms. Lisa LaBauve Dugas of New Iberia, to Mr. Jacques C. Frugé, III, the son of Mrs. Phyllis Berlanger Mata of New Iberia and the late Mr. Jack C. Frugé, Jr. of Ville Platte, has been announced.
