Happy Mother’s Day to all from all of us. We pray that you have a blessed, joyous, and memorable day. This is a day that is a nationwide observance to honor these individuals. President Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation declaring the second Sunday in May to be the designated day to celebrate.
It takes a mother’s love to make a home happy. It takes a mother’s patience to bring a child up right. It takes a mother’s kindness to forgive us where we err, her wisdom to recognize our needs and give her loving words. A mother has endless faith, confidence, and trust to guide her children through the pitfalls.
Happy birthday this week to James Frank and Bernadine Jack. Get well wishes to our loved ones in the hospital. Welcome to our home Mary Guillory and Evelyn Wilson.
This is National Nursing Home Week. We have lots of dress out days and extra special activities for residents and staff alike. We will be accepting donations of snacks, personal hygiene items, and toiletries this week. Please call the facility at 363-5532 and ask for the activity department.
We continue to schedule visits for family and friends. If you are interested, call for a scheduled appointment that fits your schedule.
