GIRL, Magnolia Jae Soileau was born February 2, 2021, at 2:58 p.m. at Acadian Medical Center to Jacob Soileau and Stacey Walter of Ville Platte, weighing 7 pounds and 2 ounces. Paternal grandparents are Darrel Soileau of Ville Platte and Georgia Johnson of Opelousas.

Mr. Hantz, Miss Poché plan June 5 nuptials

The engagement of Catherine Marie Poché, the daughter of Andy and Amy Poché of Ville Platte, to Mr. Joshua Paul Hantz, the son of Jonathan and Pam Hantz of Ragley, has been announced. The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, June 5, 2021, during a 6:30 p.m.

Mr. Deshotel, Miss Messer plan nuptials

The engagement of Miss. Angela Marie Messer, the daughter of Penny and Kevin Givens of Orlando, Fla., to Mr. Danny Ray Deshotel, the son of Jeanie Deshotel of L’Anse Gris and the late Telisma Deshotel, has been announced. Miss Messer is the granddaughter of the late Alexander and Judy Nemeth.
