The engagement of Miss Shelby Elizabeth Savoy to Mr. Jake Veillon, the son of Todd Veillon and Donna Phythian, both of Grand Prairie, has been announced by her parents, Remi and Nicole Savoy of Eunice and David Buller of Garland. The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, June 4, during a 7 p.

VP Rotary: Mayor Vidrine updates Rotarians on upcoming city projects

Rotarian Brian Ardoin invited Ville Platte Mayor and fellow Rotarian Jennifer Vidrine to address the February 1, meeting of the Ville Platte Rotary Club. Vidrine gave the group an update on several upcoming projects for the betterment of the community, noting, “There are lots of things going on.
