On the 17 th of April 2023 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Patrol Unit conducted a traffic stop
on a vehicle on Hwy 167 at Onyx Road for a traffic violation.

A Litter Abatement Grant has been approved through the Lieutenant Governor's Office, Billy Nungesser, for the EPSO. The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office will begin conducting a Litter Abatement Program along the roadways withing the Parish.
