On August 28, 2025, a search warrant was served at the 300 Blk. Tina Drive in Ville Platte, LA., by (ICAC) members of the Louisiana Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.

Arrest is made in theft of pharmacy

Arrest is made in theft of pharmacy

On January 20th, 2025, at approximately 344 AM, Deputies with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Fuselier's Pharmacy in Pine Prairie for an alarm activation. When deputies arrived, they noticed the north side door was damaged, where someone had gained entry.

On September 5, 2025, Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Fuselier Rd in reference to a complaint of trespassing on the Thomas property, along with several subjects surrounding the suspect (Rufus Searile).

Juvenile is arrested in theft of Tahoe

Chief A. Perry Thomas reports that an arrest has been made in the case of a 2021 black Chevrolet Tahoe that was stolen at approximately 8:30 p.m., on Friday, August 15, from the Ville Platte Walmart parking lot on East LaSalle Street. The vehicle was recovered after 2 p.m.
