The engagement of Bridget Marie Bercier, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Bercier III of Robert’s Cove, to Mr. Jacob Spencer Ardoin, the son of Dr. Gregory and Erin Ardoin of Lafayette, has been announced by their parents.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, June 8, 2019, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne.
Miss Bercier’s mother is the former Patricia Newman of Rayne. She is the granddaughter of the late Edwin and Clarice Bercier and the late G.L. and Gladys Newman. She is a graduate of Flower of Carmel Home School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently in dental hygiene school at LSUHSD.
Mr. Ardoin’s mother is the former Erin O’Neill of Lafayette. He is the grandson of Mr. Jake and Mrs. Genie Ardoin of Ville Platte and Mr. James and Mrs. Elizabeth O’Neill of Lafayette. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, Louisiana State University where he graduated in pre-med, and University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he graduated in petroleum engineering. He is currently attending Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport.
