EPSO searches for 80-year-old woman

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following: On 3/25/2023 at approximately 10:30pm the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office received a call concerning an elderly woman not returning from her walk.

Comeaux named state semi-finalist

By: HEATHER BOGARD Associate Editor The Louisiana Department of Education announced its 2024 Teacher and Principal of the Year semifinalists and New Teacher of the Year finalists. These 57 teachers and principals represent schools and systems across the state.

Tri-Parish workforce drops slightly

Staff Report The Tri-Parish workforce totaled 67,083 in January, down 386 or 0.6% from January 2022, according to statistics released Monday by Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The workforce includes those working and looking for a job. The statistics are not seasonally adjusted.
