The Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana (PAR) has released the PAR Guide to the 2024 Constitutional Amendments. This independent, nonpartisan review will help voters understand the issues so they can develop their own positions on each proposition for the Dec. 7 election.

A new welcome sign for the City of Ville Platte was unveiled on Friday, November 8. The new sign is located at the eastern entrance of the city in front of the Tobacco Plus location and was purchased through a grant from the Evangeline Parish Tourist Commission.
