LSUA honors Landreneau on newly unveiled Wall of Distinction

ALEXANDRIA — The Office of the Chancellor at Louisiana State University of Alexandria (LSUA) recently unveiled the new LSUA Wall of Distinction in a special ceremony, naming retired Maj. Gen. Bennett C. Landreneau as its 2025 honoree.

How it all began 41 years ago

Tri-Parish job numbers are released

The Tri-Parish unemployment rates ticked up in March and the workforce count rose slightly, according to the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Louisiana’s not seasonally adjusteda unemployment rate for March is 4.4%. This shows an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the revised February rate of 4.
