With last Friday's 82-35 victory over Pine Prairie, the Ville Platte boy's basketball team improved to 3-0 in District 5-3A play.
Led by a triple-double by Ernest Roberts, Ville Platte High picked up a 60-36 win over Church Point in District 5-3A play on Tuesday.
Pine Prairie had Iota on the ropes in Tuesday’s District 5-3A contest, but the Lady Panthers were unable to knock out the Lady Bulldogs in a 54-43 overtime loss.
PINE PRAIRIE – The Pine Prairie Lady Panthers left no doubt who the better team was, as they took down the Mamou Lady Demons in grand fashion, 61-22, this past Friday night.
The Ville Platte Bulldogs wrapped up last week with a win over a District 5-3A foe, and another in a tournament over a Class 1A power.
VILLE PLATTE -- Over the past week the Ville Platte High boy’s and girl’s basketball teams have been enjoying some success.
The Pine Prairie Lady Panthers took care of business Tuesday night as they rolled past the Ville Platte Lady Bulldogs 54-35 in the first District 5-3A contest for both teams.
