In a season that was unprecedented in terms of challenges, the appropriate response was to respond like no coach had ever before. For Ville Platte Gazette softball Coach of the Year Alycia Hebert, she had no choice but to take it in stride.
Evangeline Parish schools played 14 players in total on the District 5-3A all-district team released last week, with five players on the first-team and nine players on the second-team.
