By: TONY MARKS Editor VILLE PLATTE - The Mamou 8U All-Stars went through the loser’s bracket and forced a winner-take-all game against previously undefeated Ville Platte on their way to the DYB District 7 championship. The team will now compete in regional tournament in Bossier City.
The Ville Platte DYB 9U All-Stars claimed the district title on Saturday, June 20, and will now head to the regional tournament in Bossier City. Players are William Fontenot, Hudson Lafleur, Walker Hebert, Carter Edwards, Luca Dupre, Graham Vidrine, EJ Bias, Andress Eades, Max Vidrine, Paul Inhern, Paxton Monier, and Emmitt Payne.
