By: TONY MARKS Editor Ville Platte High’s baseball team only collected two hits as Pine Prairie’s Grant Welch and Kyle Basco combined to toss a three-inning 18-0 shutout. Pine Prairie scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Ware records 14 Ks in win over Crowley

By: TONY MARKS Editor Improving to 20-2 on the season were the Pine Prairie Lady Panthers after a 6-0 win over Crowley. Kynnedi Ware added to her strikeout total with 14 punch outs in six innings of work. She also allowed one hit and one walk.
