Big 10 conference makes decision to play football

Big Ten football is back. After the decision not to play football this fall was made back on August 11, conference presidents and chancellors voted to bring football back during a Wednesday vote. According to reports, the Big Ten will begin a conference only season beginning on October 24.

LSU has eight on All-SEC pre-season

BATON ROUGE -- Despite the loss of a number of talented players to the draft, the LSU Tigers were still able to land eight players on the All-Southeastern Conference’s pre-season team. Being named to the first team were cornerback Derek Stingley and safety JaCoby Stevens.

LAFAYETTE -- For the first time in school history the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns will hit the road as a top 25 ranked team in the country. The historical mark came after a hard fought 31-14 win over then ranked Iowa State.

Chase declares for the draft; Farrell back in?

BATON ROUGE -- Ja’Marr Chase’s LSU days are officially over. The junior wide receiver announced his decision via Twitter on Tuesday. “After 2 weeks of discussing with my family I have decided to officially declare for the 2021 NFL Draft,” Chase tweeted out.

Only 25% at Tiger Stadium “sucks” for fans

BATON ROUGE -- Thanks to COVID-19, LSU’s Tiger Stadium will “suck” for the die hard fans that are used to invading the more than 102,000 seat venue. That’s because the university and the Southeastern Conference have agreed to allow only 25 percent capacity at home games this season.
