Saints training camp schedule told

NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Saints have released their 2019 training camp schedule, some dates will be open to the public.
Rookies must report July 18 at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie, while veterans are set to report July 25.
Of the 17 practices scheduled, 14 of those will be available to the public to view. Fans wishing to attend camp practices can reserve tickets by registering at the team’s official website. Saints season ticket-holders can register for training camp tickets on July 16, while season ticket-waiting list members can register on July 17. The public can register online July 18.
“We greatly appreciate the support of our fans and the impact they have on our winning games,” said Saints owner Gayle Benson. “I know our fans give our players a boost as they put in the hard work that it takes to prepare for the season. Training camp is a special opportunity for our fans to get a unique view of the coaches and players, and we want them to be as comfortable as possible.”
The first practice open to the public will be held on July 26 from 8:50-11:40 a.m. The final practice which fans can view in New Orleans will be held on August 12.
The Saints will have two more open practices in Costa Mesa, Calif., when they travel to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in a pre-season contest. New Orleans will hold joint practices with the Chargers on August 15 and 16 and will play Los Angeles on August 18 in their second pre-season contest.
The Saints open up pre-season at home against the Minnesota Vikings on August 9. After the match-up with the Chargers, New Orleans will go on the road to take on the New York Jets on August 24 before finishing out the pre-season against Miami at home on Aug. 28.
