Parish teams record big wins heading into final games

It was a good night on Tuesday for some of the parish hard court teams, as they picked up key victories heading into the last couple of weeks in the season.
Here is a rundown of those games played.

Mamou (B) vs. Crowley
The Mamou Demons picked up their second district win in a row with a heart stopping 50-49 win over the Crowley Gents.
With the win Mamou moves to 11-19 on the year and 4-7 in district play. Mamou hosts Eunice High tonight in another important district game.
Mason Tinley led the way for the Demons with 17 points.

Mamou (G) vs. Crowley
The Mamou Lady Demons scored double digits in only one quarter, as they fell to the Crowley Ladies 41-26.
The Lady Demons drop to 8-18 on the year and 3-10 in district play.
Mamou will finish out the regular season tonight when they host Eunice High.

Eunice (B) vs.
Pine Prairie
The Pine Prairie Panthers have now lost three in a row with their 60-54 defeat at the hands of the Eunice Bobcats.
The Panthers drop to 15-7 overall and 6-5 in District 5-3A with the loss. Pine Prairie travels to Northwest High tonight in another league contest.
Raylin Thomas led the way for the Panthers with 24 points.

Eunice (G) vs.
Pine Prairie
The Pine Prairie Lady Panthers continued their hot streak, winning their fifth game in a row with a 59-56 victory over the Eunice Lady Bobcats.
The Lady Panthers are now 19-10 on the season and 8-5 in district competition. Pine Prairie closes out the regular season on the road at Northwest High tonight.
Asia George lit up the scoreboard with 25 points to lead Pine Prairie.

Ville Platte (B) vs.
Parkview Baptist
The Ville Platte High Bulldogs stepped out of district play Tuesday night, travelling to Baton Rouge to take on the Parkview Baptist Eagles. The Bulldogs out scored the Eagles 46-37 over the first three quarters to take home a 64-59 win.
Ville Platte improves to 23-2 overall with the win and will host Welsh tomorrow night in their last district game of the season.
Ernest Roberts led the way for the Bulldogs with 23 points.

Ville Platte (G) vs.
Parkview Baptist
The Ville Platte Lady Bulldogs hit the road Tuesday night to take on the Parkview Baptist Lady Eagles in Baton Rouge. In the game, the Lady Bulldogs could not overcome a 12-6 first quarter deficit and fell to the Lady Eagles 58-41.
With the loss, Ville Platte drops to 9-13 overall and will host Welsh tomorrow night in their final game of the year.
