GULFPORT, Miss. — Perhaps it was nerves from the big-game environment.
Maybe it was the first-game jitters.
It could’ve even been the shock of the level of competition.
Whatever it was, it took the Ville Platte 10U softball All-Stars a little time to get their feet under themselves on Thursday at the All-American Youth Sports World Series in Gulfport, Miss.
