It’s go time for both the Dixie Youth Major (12U) and Minor (10U) All-Stars, as both teams will begin all-star play with their respective sub-district tournaments beginning today.
The Minor All-Stars and Head Coach Michael Soileau travel to Pine Prairie for game one against Oakdale. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
The Minors will continue play tomorrow at 5 p.m. against Vernon National and then take on Mamou Saturday at 5 p.m.
The All-Star skip Sunday and complete play on Monday against Pine Prairie at 7 p.m.
The Majors stay home for sub-district, playing at the Ville Platte/Evangeline Rec Complex. They open with Oakdale today at 5 p.m. and Mamou at 5 p.m. on Friday.
The All-Stars play twice on Saturday; at 10:30 a.m. against Pine Prairie and at 4:30 p.m. against Oakdale. Sunday the Majors face Mamou at 3:30 p.m. and conclude tournament play against Pine Prairie Monday at 7 p.m.
