Swamp Pop Museum celebrates 15 years

The Louisiana Swamp Pop Museum celebrated its 15th anniversary on Friday, September 26, with an annual open house from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Several Swamp Pop legends were in attendance to reminisce about the past and celebrate Swamp Pop’s future.

6th Annual Paws for Cause royalty crowned

The Sixth Annual Cajun Paws for a Cause pageant was held at the Celestine Center in Mamou on Saturday, July 18. All proceeds from the pageant are shared by the Mamou animal holding facility and Heroes Everywhere Animal Rescue, a local animal rescue organization located in Evangeline Parish.

FRIEND OF THE VVA - Cody and Louise Vidrine were presented the Friend of the VVA (Vietnam Veterans of America) award for Chapter #632 in Ville Platte by President JD Soileau (center).
