Le Grand Hoorah celebrates 10 years

The 10th Annual Le Grand Hoorah was held this past weekend at Lakeview Park and Beach. The event began on Friday, October 31, with a Boo-Rah that featured trick-or-treating from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and live music from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

New water tower is constructed

Following the creation of the new Point Blue-Chataignier Water System, a $10 million grant was procured through the state’s Water Sector Program. The funds were used to construct a new water tower for the water system.
