VPHS cross country teams find success

(Left photo) At the Evangeline Parish Cross Country meet held October 19-20, the junior high boys from Ville Platte High, Alex Melancon and Kaden Ardoin, were parish champs. Melancon earned a first place finish, and Ardoin earned a third place finish.

Mamou High School will hold homecoming activities on Friday, October 15. The Green Demons will take on the Pine Prairie Panthers during the football game at 7 p.m. A pep rally will be held at 10 a.m. on the football field, followed by a parade at 5:30 p.m.
