Mary Germaine Ardoin Fusilier, 80, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning of Wednesday, October 6, 2021, surrounded by her children. Services will be held at Our Lady, Queen of All Saints Church in Ville Platte on Saturday, October 16, with visitation from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

ST LANDRY – Funeral services were held at a 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in St. Landry for Margaret Yvonne Soileau, 83, who passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Kim Leger, 47, were held at 11 a.m. on October 12, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Kim, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at her residence. Father Tom Voorhies officiated the funeral Mass.

ERLENE CLARK ASHFORD

Erlene Clark Ashford, 75, also known as Miss Evil, from Turkey Creek, passed away on September 21, 2021. A memorial was held in Evil’s honor for her family and close friends on October 9, 2021. It will be hosted in her daughter Desiree’s home at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Harahan area.

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Kayla Sue Manuel, 71, will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel. Kayla, a native of Pine Prairie, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in Vidor, Texas. Burial is to follow in the Fontenot Cemetery.

Marilyn Reed Ardoin, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Breaux Bridge on September 25, 2021. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date. Known to many as “Molin,” she was the daughter of Simpson and Ada Reed of Mamou.
