VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Annette Manuel Lafleur at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte, which was followed by interment at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Charles “Charlie” Ray Fontenot, 67, were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Jules Cemetery. Father Tom Voorhies officiated. Visitation began Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Dale Dardeau, Sr. on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Mr. Dardeau was a resident of Ville Platte. He served in the Navy for four years and made a lifetime career with Brown and Root.
