MAMOU – A memorial service will be held at a later date for Jency Miller who passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her residence in St. Martinville, at the age of 90. A private burial will follow in the Old St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou.

MAMOU – Funeral services were held for Roland David Deloach on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice and were conducted by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Burial followed in the Savoy Lafleur Cemetery in Perchville.

VILLE PLATTE - A memorial mass for Alex Peter Fontenot, 37, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Tom Voorhies will officiate. Alex, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023.

VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian Burial was held for James “Jim” Limoges at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Our Lady, Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Father Tom Voorhies conducted the Mass. Burial was conducted with full military honors at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

JOSEPH WAYNE FORMAN

Joseph Wayne Forman, 76, of Bayou Chicot, passed away on June 23, 2023. Wayne was born to Joe and Beulah Forman on September 23, 1946. He grew up with a deep passion for Country music and playing guitar. This ultimately led him to the love of his life, Peggy.

DAVE J. LABORDE JR. August 25, 1945 - June 20, 2023 VILLE PLATTE – A Funeral of Christian Burial for Dave J. Laborde Jr., 77, was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Turkey Creek Church of Christ. Burial followed in the Turkey Creek Cemetery. Rev. Jamie Roberts officiated.

GWENDOLYN JUANITA TATMAN BURCHAM March 21, 1939 - June 16, 2023 Gwendolyn Juanita Tatman Burcham, 84, passed peacefully in her sleep on June 16, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. She was laid to rest on June 22, 2023, in the Lutz Cemetery in Lutz, Florida, next to her husband.
