Our beloved brother, Stephen Paul “Steve” Vidrine, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, with his Rosary held tightly in his hand. Steve’s cremains will be laid to rest with his parents at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, in Morrow.

Barbara Gail Lemoine, a cherished member of the Ville Platte community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in Ville Platte, at the age of 80. A graveside service to honor her was held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 4 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

SUNSET- Nicholas Jake Fontenot, of Sunset, passed away September 6, 2024, a month shy of his 39th birthday. Born October 20, 1985, in Lafayette, he was a beloved son, father, brother, and uncle.

VILLE PLATTE- James Hurley Vidrine, 87, of Ville Platte, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Born to Leander and Ludy LaFleur Vidrine, Hurley lived a life of dedication, faith, and service. Funeral services were on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Patsy Nell Stagg, 82, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024, in Lake Charles. She was born on September 16, 1941, in Ville Platte, to Turley and Ollie Vidrine Aguillard. A gathering of family and friends was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
