Turkey Creek Police report recent arrests

From November 21 th , 2022 up to the date of this release, the following incidents took place in the jurisdiction of
the Village of Turkey Creek.
On November 21, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on VIRGINIA A LUMLEY of Ville Platte, LA, she was
found to have an existing warrant from Turkey Creek. While in custody, Virginia gave officers a clear bag she had
concealed in her clothing. Virginia stated it was her “meth.” She was arrested for the following charge(s):

On November 22, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on TABITHA O’NEAL-HARRINGTON of Oakdale, LA,
she was found to have been in possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine), Schedule IV (Xanax), and drug
paraphernalia. She was charged with the following and a warrant is active for her arrest:

On November 22, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on ADAM B CLARK of Ville Platte, LA, he was found
to have been in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with the following:

On November 26, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on JOSHUA K BRADFORD of Shreveport, LA, for
traffic violations, a strong smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Liquid THC and paraphernalia were
then located after a search of the vehicle. He was charged with the following:

On November 27, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on GEORREIN L DUPRE of Grambling, LA for traffic
violations, a strong smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. When officers asked the driver his name, he
gave a false name but later admitted to it. Suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located. He was
charged with the following:

On November 27, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on JORDY MASON of Jonesville, LA, for traffic
violations, he was found to be in possession of two prescription medication prescribed to someone else and
multiple drug paraphernalia. A warrant for Mr. Mason is still active at the time of this release.

On November 28, JERMAINE MOORE, JR., was arrested in Mississippi on a warrant from Turkey Creek and was
extradited to Louisiana to face his charge of:

On November 27, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on BYRONIKA SMITH of Hattiesburg, MS, for traffic
violations, a strong smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. When officers asked the driver if she had any
marijuana in the vehicle, she stated that she did. After a search of the vehicle, one small bag of suspected
marijuana and two blunts were located. She was charged with the following:

On November 29, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on JUSTIN CLARK of Ville Platte, LA, for traffic
violations, a strong smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Officers then asked Mr. Clark why it smells like
marijuana in the vehicle to which he stated he had just finished smoking a “roach.” During the search of the
vehicle, drug paraphernalia and Suboxone was located in a wallet belonging to his passenger, JENNIGER F
CARAWAY.

On December 1, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on CORY USAND of Harvey, LA, for traffic violations, a
strong smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, suspected marijuana and
drug paraphernalia was located. He was cited for the following:

On December 3, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on SHANE A FONTENOT of Turkey Creek, LA, for
traffic violations, he gave consent to search his vehicle. Officers then located drug paraphernalia, three separate
prescription medication not in his name, and suspected Methamphetamine in a clear bag. A field test conducted
on the suspected meth came back positive. At the time of this release a warrant for Mr. Shane is active for the
following charges:

On December 6, while officers were conducting a traffic stop on CYNTHIA L BROUSSARD of St. Landry, LA, for
traffic violations, officers seen in plain view a baggie of suspected marijuana and pill containers with the labels
removed and pills inside the bottle. After a search of the vehicle was conducted, it was found that she was in
possession of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medication not prescribed to her. She
was charged with the following:

On December 6, while officers were conducting a traffic stop, JULIAN C TWEEDEL of Pine Prairie, LA, was a
passenger and was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was charged
with the following:

On December 7, while officers were conduction a traffic stop on KINJI M STEVENS of Alexandria, LA, he became
very aggressive before officers could make contact with him. Officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle as
they approached. During contact with Mr. Stevens, officers seen a firearm in the drivers reach and two partially
smoked blunts in the cup holder ashtray. Stevens was then ordered to exit the vehicle. A vehicle search was
conducted that resulted in the discovery of a 9mm handgun with serial numbers removed, suspected marijuana,
suspected ecstasy tabs, Oxycodone, and two separate prescriptions not prescribed to him. He was charged with
the following:

On December 10, while officers where conducting a traffic stop on MARCELLUS WILLIAMS of Lena, LA, officers
could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officers then searched the vehicle and located
multiple cigars containing suspected marijuana. She was charged with the following:

On December 12, while officers where conducting a traffic stop on KANNETHA K WILSON of Mamou, LA, for nearly
hitting an officer with her vehicle while the officer was conducting a separate traffic stop. Once the officer made
contact with the driver, it appeared she was under the influence and began yelling at the officer. She refused to
give the officer her driver’s license or any form of identification. The officer could see in plain view various forms of
drug paraphernalia and smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The Evangeline Parish
Sheriff’s Office was then contacted to send a female deputy to assist. Once the deputy was on scene, contact was
made with the driver again and officers ordered her to step out of vehicle. The driver stated from a crack in her
window that she did not have to get out because they do not have probable cause. As officers reached to open the
door, Wilson locked the doors but the officer was able to fit his arm through the cracked window and unlock it
manually. The driver had to be forcefully removed and continued to resist lawful orders of the officer and deputy.
Wilson was then cuffed, patted down, and placed in the back of the patrol unit. At that time a second deputy with
EPSO arrived to assist. During a search of the vehicle, officers located multiple partially smoked suspected
marijuana cigarettes in the ash tray, multiple THC pens, THC disposable straw that was clearly labeled containing
THC, two metal grinders with suspected marijuana residue, fake urine, Hydrocodone prescribed to someone else, a
jar of suspected marijuana, a rifle, and a loaded handgun with a box of ammo. Wilson later informed the officer
she works at GEO in Pine Prairie and was going home to rest before her shift. GEO was later contacted and
informed of the situation. She was charged and arrested for the following:
