Tommy and Cheryl Manuel celebrated 50 years of matrimony on May 1 when they gathered with their family at St. Augustine Catholic Church for a marriage blessing by Father Keenan Brown after the 4 p.m. Saturday Vigil Mass.
The Manuels were wed on May 1, 1971, at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Eunice with Father Guy Lemoine officiating.
