Three parish teams punched their tickets for the 2018 LHSAA Football Playoffs on the road to the Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Prep Classic. Each of the teams learned their playoff destinations after the brackets were released Sunday morning.
In Division IV, the Sacred Heart Trojans earned the number 11 seed and will travel to Monroe to face the number 6 seed St. Frederick High School.
Also on the road in the first round will be the Ville Platte High Bulldogs as the number 32 seed. Their destination is Many where they will face the top seeded Many High School.
The only parish team playing at home in the first round is the sixth seed Basile Bearcats of Class 1A. Their dance partner is Tensas as the 27th seed.
All three games are slated for Friday night at 7:00 p.m., and admission to the games is $8.00.
