There is an obvious reason that President Donald Trump plays the Sam and Dave classic “Hold On, I’m Comin’” at the end of his campaign rallies.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:

John Kennedy was raised in Zachary and graduated from Zachary High School.

VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Janice Lemoine Soileau at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Our Lady, Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte.

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary J. Fontenot, 80, were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery.
